I’ve always connected with this line because music is the thing that moves me more than anything else. I’m one of those people who needs it playing constantly; I can’t sit in silence for long, and most of my days are basically backed by whatever soundtrack I’ve fallen into at the moment. I even fall asleep to music. There’s something about it that feels endless to me. All the notes in the world, constantly rearranging themselves into something new, something I haven’t heard before. It feels like a way of seeing the world.

So when Orsino asks to gorge on music until he’s sick of love, I get where he’s coming from. I don’t think I could ever overindulge to that point myself, but I understand the instinct to lean into music when your feelings get a bit overwhelming, to let it take up all the space until everything else quiets down. Overindulging in music is something I probably do on a daily basis, and I love it.

This design came out of that idea. Where music becomes the thing you reach for because it’s the one thing that always, always gives you something back.
